Food is one of my favourite subjects to photograph, but it can be tricky. Particularly when you’re trying to take photos and all you really want to do is eat what you’re being asked to photograph! So here’s a tip for you: make sure you’ve eaten before hand; photographing food on an empty stomach is never a good idea.
In addition to being asked to provide a range of promotional images for Baked with Love’s Facebook page, I was tasked with designing a logo too. I’ll also be providing web design services for their soon to be launched new website.
Being a small business, I’m a big supporter of other small businesses too. Especially if it’s a business that creates beautiful and delicious cakes!
Here’s another tip. When it comes to food photography, lighting is everything. And experiment with different angles. Believe it or not, even food has a best side.
