Living in such a beautiful part of Western Australia, I’m surrounded by many, many amazing landscapes and seascapes to photograph. This North Beach sunset has to be one of my all time favourite images – the colours are quite beautiful, even if I do say so myself!
Like most photographers, I enjoy posting and sharing my images on social media, particularly Instagram. This beautiful sunset image was picked up and shared on the Instagram accounts of Perth Life and Amazing WA. Between them they have over 55,000 followers.
So what makes a great sunset in my opinion? That’s easy: phenomenal colours. In Western Australia, the coastline is the best place to try and capture a cracking sunset. Of course, it doesn’t always go to plan. It doesn’t matter how much you prepare, it always depends on Mother Nature and if she feels like putting on a good show.
