Photographing animals requires patience. A lot of patience! QQ is our office cat and my best feline friend. She prefers to spend most of her day sleeping, but likes to indulge in some playtime occasionally.
So when she’s awake, she’s my go to subject for practising pet photography. Of course, animals, particularly cats, have a mind of their own and can be quite stubborn. Playtime is the best time to try and photograph QQ, because she’s alert and I get to capture her beautiful big bright eyes in all their glory. Here she is eying up her favourite toy.
I think this was the first time I used my new Sigma 50 mm F1.4 Art lens. I’m really pleased with the performance and quality of this lens.
