If you’re keen to experience a stunning Western Australia sunset, Cottesloe Beach is usually the perfect spot to enjoy the best Mother Nature has to offer.
Hoping to catch a great autumn sunset, I headed out to Cottesloe with my tripod and trusty Sony A77. Unfortunately, due to the weather and high cloud cover that evening, I soon realised, to my disappointment, a spectacular sunset wasn’t going to materialise on that particular evening.
Not to be defeated, and still hoping to come away with something special, I thought I’d try my hand at something a little bit different. And so I came away with this rather cool macro shot. I love how the background is completely blurred to emphasise the seashell in the foreground. I think it looks pretty cool.
